NGNM is a modular, multidisciplinary production company specializing in the intersection of emerging technology and cultural insight. We bring deep experience across cultural technology, live music, and experiential events—building teams that scale to meet the creative and technical demands of every project.
From concept to execution, NGNM is where innovative tools meet real-world impact.
Director
James Outlaw, NGNM founding partner and creative strategist, is also a real stories filmmaker known for capturing intimate moments in intimate spaces. With a background rooted in music and nightlife culture, James spent over a decade producing a celebrated series of music events across New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas—events that drew thousands and built a loyal following. His work balances restraint and emotional clarity, shaped by years behind the decks and behind the camera, making him uniquely suited to tell stories that feel lived-in and real.
Technical Director
Greg Ipp, NGNM founding partner and creative technologist, began his career in video game design and has spent decades working at the forefront of web-based and interactive technology. His work blends technical experimentation with cultural fluency, supporting artists like the Beastie Boys, Mac DeMarco, and Beyoncé with innovative digital experiences that push platforms and audiences in new directions.
Partners
Nightlight
NGNM lighting and video partner Nightlight expanded into live broadcast in 2020, building a remote production arm to support artists during the COVID lockdowns. What began as a lifeline for live music quickly evolved into high-profile partnerships, including serving as the primary livestream production team for Good Morning America. Most recently, they led lighting and video design for T-Pain’s performance at Coachella, continuing to blend technical precision with cultural relevance.
