Minor Figures Barista Oat tasked NGNM with amplifying their activation at Portola Festival, a two day electronic music festival hosting 80k+ dance music fans.

As part of their US national retailer launch Minor Figures activated a product sampling experience at this large scale music festival. Looking to get more from the activation beyond on site engagement and sampling they reached out to NGNM for amplification ideas. Our recommendation was to bring one of the most notable fashion and music culture photographers, Mark “The Cobrasnake” Hunter to capture the festival along side Minor Figures. We then documented Mark’s experience with Minor Figures and the festival’s best dressed, to create a plethora of storytelling pieces for social media.
Style impresarios and culture influencers felt at home in front of Mark’s camera which gave a great sense of authenticity to the activation, and in turn meant great results for social impact.
