Leveraging the fervent community of up-cycle designers engaged in dialog on YouTube Shorts, we created a street level activation during the high season of New York Fashion Week.

#REMAKETHERUNWAY was born and unveiled to the world during New York Fashion Week 2022.
For The Grand Finale The Mad Hattar gave the creators a treatment typically reserved for only the biggest names in fashion — we created the #REMAKETHERUNWAY storefront in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. We designed and fabricated 5 incredible window displays revolving around each designer.
Each window display is made out of up-cycled, found, and sustainably sourced materials to evoke the feel and story behind the fabrics used in their collection. The storefront opened at 591 Broadway in SoHo less than a mile away from NY Fashion Week’s home.
