Greg’s career began in the late ’80s creating art for underground software groups, where he first blended creativity with technology. By the early ’90s, he was setting up the motion capture studio at Electronic Arts, using Silicon Graphics machines as space heaters. After a stint at Nintendo, Greg joined the team at TopSpin Media, a music tech company later acquired by Beats, and co-founded StageBloc, a music ecosystem acquired by FullScreen Entertainment.
Transitioning from music tech to humanitarian innovation, Greg joined the founding team of Hala Systems, where he built tools predicting airstrikes during the Syrian civil war. This work, funded in part by Mark Cuban, and now featured in the Smithsonian, demonstrated technology’s potential to save lives. As an original contributor to Starling Labs for Data Integrity, Greg developed tools used in war crimes prosecutions at the ICC.
Most recently, Greg helped build EQTYLAB, focusing on AI governance with partners like NVIDIA, Intel, and Hedera. He now leads Living Content alongside Imogen Heap, creating tools that support and protect content creators while ensuring trust and transparency in AI-driven media. Greg’s work continues to explore new ways technology can empower people and solve complex challenges.
